As a sensible gesture to the future of technology, we organized an industrial visit to Saveetha school of engineering for first-year students from the Department of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technolgy.
On 7th March 2020, the computers science engineering and Information technology students of batch 2019-22 visited Agira technologies to get the in-depth knowledge and understanding of technology advancements in web and mobile development. Being under the guidance of Dr Charlyn Pushpa Latha Associate professor from IT department and Mr S Sridhar Assistant professor from the CSE department, nearly 70 students were present for the industrial visit.
Our Human Resource Manager Nisha Kalamane introduced our company, what we are actually working on, and how it all started. She mentioned how we specialize in web and mobile development technologies. And the success story of two amateur technology innovators joined together to build Agira technologies. Being a technology leader starts from inspiring the students, motivating the young minds and providing them with the right opportunities.
The main objective of the industrial visit is to provide the students with essential knowledge about the activities of a technology development company like Agira technologies. We organized to give a brief about activities including Marketing, Technology and Human Resources.
A brief description of the opportunities that are currently available in Agira technologies was given by our Software Engineer Ms Aishwarya Damani. She explained the opportunities we have career-wise and what we expect out of freshers. She started with various career opportunities in the following areas.

Along with this, she gave a brief overview of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) and career opportunities related to SDLC.
As soon as the students got the overview of the company, our senior developer Mr Reddy Sai showcased the web and mobile technologies that we were currently working. He introduced the major programming languages and channels we are focusing on including web, mobile and desktop applications. The types of web applications, mobile and web applications and a brief on static and dynamic applications. He also explained the development platforms like Ruby, Python and Golang.
Once Reddy Sai comprehended the basics of technology, Mr Gurumoorthy, Blockchain developer, R&D introduced the students about the latest blockchain technology and its applications in many different industries. He gave a clear explanation about blockchain basics, cryptography, how it is resistant to modification of the data and its effective transaction records. And a glance about the use cases of blockchain such as how insurance Fraud is solved with the help of blockchain by insurance companies. And he concluded by finally assisting the students’ doubts and guiding them where to start blockchain, and motivated to do projects in the blockchain.
At the end of the technical tour to all the programming technologies and applications, Ms Aathirai Somasundaram, the content writer from the marketing team unveiled the basic marketing activities that we are involved. She explained the unique opportunity that is given to the developers through internal technical blogging. The benefits that come along for developers when writing a technical blog to Agira technologies. She discussed the best blogs that went viral in recent days and how well that Agira technologies continue performing well in the digital market today.
It is usual for any fresher with no experience have a dilemma that if they need to choose a start-up company or an MNC. So, Ms Preethi described her personal experience on the major benefits of working in a start-up company and why should someone choose the same for the betterment of your career.
It almost took 1.5 hours to complete the entire technical session which was followed by questions of students answered by CTO of Agira technologies, Mr Senthil, in an appropriate manner with full details.

They got a chance to understand the gap lagging between their theoretical knowledge to practical implication.
